Priority1 was founded in 1995 as an internal logistics division responsive to the operational needs of its asset-based parent company, Priority Wire and Cable. Over the years, our experience and expertise grew to such levels that we became an independent, fully capable service provider, and today we offer our clients a complete range of professional tools in the transportation sector.
Lance Hines is Director of Sales and Business Development with Priority1 Inc. He has been a member of the direct sales team since February of 2006.
Lance brings over 17 years of Transportation and Logistics experience to his customers and co-workers at Priority1. He started his career with Watkins Motor Lines, a nationwide LTL carrier acquired by FedEx Freight, as an Account Executive and was promoted to Terminal Manager for the Little Rock, AR facility for 10 years. He then helped Southeastern Freight Lines launch their Little Rock, AR terminal as an Account Manager. He joined Priority1 in 2006 bringing his 10+ years of LTL sales expertise and transportation operations experience. He was instrumental in Priority1's development of their Transportation Management System(TMS) that has spurred the rapid growth of Priority1 as one of the top 3rd Party Logistics(3PL) providers in the United States.
Mr. Hines received his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 2001. His emphasis is in Marketing and Economics. He is very active in his local community and was elected to the City of Little Rock Board of Directors in 2011 and is currently serving a 4 year term. He serves on the Commission on Children Youth and Families, MEMS Ambulance Authority, and Central Arkansas Transit Authority Board. He is a member of Calvary Baptist Church Little Rock,AR and past President of the Villages of Wellington Community Association(2008-2010).
Cliff Rives joined the Priority1 sales team in 1998. He has 32 years of experience in the transportation industry. His transportation background has been primarily focused on the LTL segment of the industry with additional experience in truckload, distribution, and small package.
Cliff has been in a leadership role with Priority1 for the past 14 years. He is currently responsible for managing the outside direct sales channel with representatives in Arkansas, Mississippi, and Texas.
Cliff is a native of Arkansas and enjoys the outdoor activities that the Natural State has to offer.
Daniel Berardi is the General Manager of Priority1, a post he has held since October 2nd, 2008.
Mr. Berardi has held several leadership positions prior to joining Priority1 in 2008, including roles in Alltel's human resource department, executive retail and business sales leadership, retail strategy, sales operations, and call center environments. He became General Manager of Priority1 in 2008 shortly after the announced purchase of Alltel by Verizon.
Mr. Berardi was recognized as a top sales executive by winning the ACE contest for sales leadership in 2001 - 2005. He was also nominated for the 2007 and 2008 "Alltel Leader of the Year" award which acknowledged the best leaders in the 22,000 person organization as judged by their peers and direct reports. Priority1 has seen tremendous growth and success in the market place and continues to climb the list of top logistic companies.
